Short Escape to ...

Hi all, I'm back after one year! I'm sorry. My laziness kill me 😅

Today I would like to talk about my short escape. Actually I have planned to blog about my convocation but I think audience will prefer travel blog than my education life. So I would say it was not a perfect ending for my degree but at least I done it! Thanks God 💗

So let's start for my short escape!

It was a sudden plan, two weeks before I go to Penang. 

Booked T+ Macallum hotel at agoda.com and purposely installed the agoda apps to get cheaper price.

YES, you will tend to get cheaper booking price via APPS than online booking on website. So, go and download it but if money is not a problem to you, just skip it! lol

Hotel booking at RM202 for two nights including breakfast. 

Day 1

Departed around 1:30pm. Reached around 5:10pm.

Wait for bf's friend,Jason to end work only go for dinner.

Went to Chulia street for dinner but I forgot to take picture.

Of course we have second round since it's gathering! 

Yes, this time with photo! And most of you can guess where is the place with the picture as clue!

Day 2

Went for interview. It's a great experience but failed at stage 3. Finger crossed🤞

Went to eat Hokkien mee (known as Har mee in KL)

Then we went to 1st Avenue for window-shopping. And bf had A&W burger over there!

This is why he is getting bigger in size :P

He brought me to James Foo for dinner at Precinct 10.

Ordered Medium Ribeye but I can taste from Medium Rare to Fully cooked.
Food Price below RM38
White wine RM18
Overall rate 4/10

Bf ordered Fish with tarta sauce. Much more nicer and price is below RM20.
Never go wrong with orange juice when you eat western food.
Overall rate 7/10 (Because I curi makan sikit and minum sikit)

After dinner, went to Cubopark, the first container pop up mall to have a walk and snap picture!

There is live band over there and you can chill over here.

We chilled at Starbucks which is just located beside Cubopark before back to hotel.

Day 3

Checked out at 12pm.

No plan at all and went for lunch at OO White Coffee Cafe.

I'm fulled as I just had my breakfast so I only ordered o jien and shared with bf.

He had his char kuey teow @ RM7.

Impromptu plan to stay one more night at Tanjung Bungah.

After booking homestay at agoda.com then went to Gurney Paragon. 

The weather in Penang is very hot and so we have to hide in mall.

Day 4

Checked out early in the morning 9:30am and had breakfast at Restaurant Zim Sum (点心之家)

Didn't manage to order their famous mee as it is a big portion for 4 person.

That's all for my short escape to Penang. More to Food trip as I never been to visit any well-known places like Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si and so on.

Looking forward for next short trip. Maybe pay a visit to Sabah next time?
